What is the Dream Team?
The Dream Team is a group of incredible people that have discovered their gifts and passions and are actively serving in them. We strongly believe that because God gave up everything to be with us, we serve others as a way to say ‘thank you’ in return. We just can’t help but serve. As we pour out our time into making others lives better, we are making every life different for the glory of God.
Areas of Service
Summit Kids
In Summit Kids (ages birth through 5th grade), we have the privilege of investing in the next generation of our church! Far from just being childcare, we are partnering with parents in the discipleship of their children. We have multiple opportunities to serve including Check-in, Teaching, Audio/Visual team, A-team, and Summit Haven buddy (special needs ministry). We even have a special Summit Kids team for 6th-8th grade students who serve in various capacities on the weekends within Summit Kids.
Summit Youth
Summit Youth (grades 6-12) serving opportunities include Small Groups leaders, Worship team, and Audio/Visual. Our main student programming takes place on Wednesday nights and we would love to have you join our Dream Team!
Summit Young Adults
If you are passionate about pouring into the next generation, we would love to invite you into our Young Adults Ministry(18-29 year olds). Serving opportunities include Small Groups, Community Gatherings, retreats, and more.
Host Teams
Whether you're directing cars in the parking lot, greeting someone as they enter the church, refilling drinks at the coffee bar, helping someone find a seat, or assisting guests at the Info Center, we would love to have you join this team that makes a great first impression.
Medical Team
If you’re a medical professional or first responder, this could be just the spot for you! Our Medical Emergency Team (MET) members are on-call during the regular service they attend should a need arise. This team is not often called upon, but greatly appreciated!
Security Team
The Security team provides a layer of protection during worship services, weekly classes and special events. This team must be able to pass the background check and attend mandatory meetings. Previous security or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.
Operations Team
A- team: Provides assistance in our Main Office Monday - Thursday.
Baptism team: Serves as extra hands during baptism services to make sure things run smoothly.
Care team: creates meals for hospital visits/funerals.
Facilities team: set up/tear down for events
Resource team: replenish seatback material, prep communion, etc.
Creative Team
From social media + photography/videography to set design for At the Movies - the Creative Team gets to tell the stories of what God is doing in the life of our church and create engaging environments for seasonal series.
Prayer Team
This team cares for the church body through prayer and is made up of two parts: The Prayer Chain that prays during the week over submitted requests and as an In-Person Prayer Partner during weekend services.
Production Team
Behind the scenes of every service, we have a world class team that is rarely seen, but always felt. This team is made up of volunteers in audio, visual, and lighting. We have opportunities for seasoned pros and no previous experience! We also have an Online Campus Team that hosts church online where they connect with guests from around the world and keep them engaged throughout the service through sharing links, chat conversations, and prayer online.
Kingdom Builders Team
Our team uses our gift of giving to support major projects and facilitate the overall vision of the church through strategic financial offerings.
Serve/Small Group Leadership Team
Whether you're leading a Serve Team to bless our neighborhood or facilitating a Summit Small Group at your home, this team will lead groups of people to make every life different in our community.
Summit Women Team
From greeting to set up and tear down, there are over 14 teams that serve at our She Is Events to make our guests feel welcome and loved. Because these teams don't serve regularly, we do encourage you to join a regular Dream Team as well.
Worship Team
If you're a member of Summit Church and have musical experience on an instrument, vocals, or audio engineering, we invite you to audition for one of our campus worship teams!
